Terms of service
1. Who we are
Norvik Cloud OY (“Norvik”, “we”) is a private limited company registered in Finland under business ID 3421876-9, with its registered office at Hitsaajankatu 24, 00810 Helsinki.
2. Acceptable use
You may use Norvik for any lawful purpose. You may not use Norvik for: bulk unsolicited messaging, distribution of malware, hosting illegal content, attacks against third parties, or anything that violates Finnish or EU law. We will respond to specific abuse reports within one business day. Account suspension follows the procedure described in section 6.
3. Service levels
Standard tier comes with a 99.9% monthly availability target. Pro tier comes with 99.95%. Credits are calculated per the pricing page and are issued automatically on the next invoice without requiring a request.
4. Data
You retain ownership of all data you upload. We process it strictly to provide the service. We do not sell or share data with third parties. Backups are encrypted at rest and replicated only within the EEA. Detailed processing terms are in our Privacy policy and our DPA, available on request.
5. Billing
Billing is monthly, in arrears, in euro. Tax is added per Finnish VAT rules; reverse-charge applies for B2B customers in other EU member states with a valid VAT ID. We accept SEPA, credit card and wire transfer. Disputed invoices must be raised within 30 days.
6. Termination
You may close an account at any time from the dashboard or by writing to support@. We may suspend an account for non-payment after 30 days of overdue invoice with 14 days of prior notice, or immediately for confirmed abuse under section 2. After termination, data is retained for 30 days for self-service restore, then permanently destroyed.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Norvik’s aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes are heard in the District Court of Helsinki, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.
9. Changes
We’ll notify customers by email at least 30 days before any material change to these terms.
